Guess who stepped in it? (Part 2)
What we need to understand is how the elite think. They do not think as you and I do so this leads us to compose a model of thinking based upon psychiatric inter-operation of moral beliefs. First of all, not every one is moral-to any extent. Some are psychotic, and usually caught and locked up as a danger to themselves and others. Being psychotic subordinates normal thinking down to the limbic cortex-the root of animal behavior in the brain. There are, however, other forms of mental illness to consider aside from character and personality disorders, there is simply “belief systems”.
The Muslim faith is a belief system based upon childhood incorporation of adult speech, morays, behaviors, dress codes, and all the little “things” that any parents does to bond the child into the adults “belief system”- a religious overtone of daily life, neighbors’ daily life, and the nation’s daily life. By age five, the child is a lifelong indoctrinated practicing Muslim, Christian, and Jew etc.
The Muslim religion was brought to the Middle East in or about 610 CE wherein at that time Judaism, Christianity, and numerous other “belief systems” prevailed. Within the Muslim faith there was a split in the interpretation of the Qur’an. We may consider this split is symbolical like our own Protestant, Catholic separation in the 17th Century, and the Christian Church has continued to split into hundreds, or more, sub Christian “belief systems”.
Since we are focusing on the Muslim faith we see the largest group of the split is the Sharia and the somewhat smaller group is the Sunni. They hate one another. Each of these dominant groups is split again into tribal interpretations that also hate one another. However, let us not forget the endless religious controlled peoples that have their own slant on how to discourse their lives. If you Google Muslim, you will find it interesting, but confusing.
The human mind, a normal healthy mind, forms a structure of thinking based upon a moral perspective. This was concluded by a former professor of psychiatry and psychology at Harvard Medical School. This model serves us well in the understanding of “belief systems”.
First off there are six levels of comprehension we all work with. Let us start at the base:
Level 1: This is the realm of evil incarnate, pure low-level hateful, disruptive dangerous persons who cannot be cured of bad behaviors and are best locked up. This is the psychopath at his or her worst. However, it is thought that some psychopaths are high functioning and can be found in banking and other institutions that exercise control. They, as a dysfunctional personality, are often homicidal, fire setters, muggers, rapists, and violent criminals. Recall Ted Bundy. Psychopaths have no moral values, no conscience, and no remorse. Usually they have flat affect and believe it, or not, are sought out by specific businesses to negotiate trades and financial transactions.
Level 2: This is the sociopath. A person without remorse, highly manipulative, pathological liar, who is able to hold himself, or herself together in a normal context for short periods of time before excercising criminal behaviors such as fraud, stealing, drinking to excess, marriage for money, influence, power, political office. Many religious figures are in this category: recall Jim Jones, Swaggert, and the Bakers etc. The sociopath is able to merge into family and society presenting a normal personality, but in time his emulation of Level: 3 break down into troubling behaviors. We can further state the sociopath, perhaps 40% of our population, can emulate Level: 1, as he sinks into disarray, although he often passes him self off as Level 3.
Level 3: This is considered a rational, normal employable, educated, high functioning, socially integrated human being. True, they may, like any one else have ups and downs, but they marry, raise children, and with time pass on with family positive remembrances. Now it becomes interesting. The normal Level 3 person of moral standing can be sucked into the “belief system” of a Level 2: con artist. The bait is usually a predisposition for get rich quick schemes, if religious, a new religious twist that is reinforced by promises of getting out of poverty, getting a new car, finding a mate, the promise of a positive result unattainable unless being part of the con. Para Science often influences these people with strange beliefs not necessarily accepted as religious. UFO viewers come to mind, and recent commentaries that the ancient pyramids were constructed as grain storage facilities. At this point the mental strength comes into play, some level 3 people are just weak minded, but still good people-just easily misled. This is where the definition: mental illness originated by Sigmund Freud, but I consider it is not a mental illness as so much a perceived need to fulfill subconscious wishes of control and recognition.
Devout religious people, such as the Muslims ascribe to Level 3 as do many Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and the list goes on and on. Let us be clear, most Muslims are kind, law abiding and peaceful, There exists many Level 1-think of ISIS.
Level 4: This is a morality based on laws. Most people living in the western world with English Common Law base would consider themselves as Level 4 thinkers who make decisions based on law as they understand it, subscribe to indoctrination through public education, modern medical treatments, military training, and of course being a “good neighbor”.
However Level 4 wannabes are really Level 3 but the catch in this scenario of moral developmental stages have the ability to regress or go forward in view of what is best. Most people who become Level 4 law abiders and legal thinkers can view the next rung on the ladder, Level 5, but this is where Elitist personality starts to develop. As an example: You are a level 3 and want to be a Level 4 with Level 5 overtones but your moral developments limits you. That “want” or “wish” to be incorporated creates specific thrusts in their cultural climate becoming judges, physicians, philosophers, and scientists such as Einstein. But the wish cannot be realized to become better, as we see in the next level.
You are stuck at any one level and can perceive the next level, but not actually become that level, only imitate it. Going backward is quite possible especially in formative years and/or under great stress for adults such as war/combat influence, poverty, illegal conscription etc.
Level 5. Gandhi, Buddha, Jesus the Christ, Mother Theresa, are all level 5. This is the ultimate moral development and obviously affects the thought process. What is interesting about Level 5 is that great leaders such as anyone noted in history who mass kills their fellow mankind to achieve a social goal, a religious goal, or a goal of humanity may in historical sentiment be thought as a great, very great moral thinker committed to the betterment of the masses; then again may be thought of like Hitler. Had Hitler won, how would he have been viewed? Historical revisionism may, or may not be true.
Many Level 4 moral developed such as our President, trained in law, and others see themselves as elitists aspiring, and possibly a Level 5 thinker to change humanity all for the betterment of mankind no matter what the cost. This is the illusion of the mind, as the “wish” is subconsciously planted by the empowered majority suggesting the achievement of Level 5. It does not exist.
Appointed, voted leaders of the misdirected, conned, misled masses may well behold them selves to becoming Level 5, but in reality it is an illusion for the masses, and the pitiful “leader” voted into office that effects us all.
SUMMARY: It does appear that we are all born into a level of morality no matter how woeful our situation or how enriched our life is. We can, move back a step but never move ahead. We are essentially frozen. Those consciously aware of the higher plane may indeed emulate their perceived betters by becoming an elitist sycophant. There is in actually no such thing as an elitist, only an illusion.
