Preparations for war
The diversity in living spaces i.e.: apartments, rural farm, etc. dictate what you can do, or not do, to protect your self from the ravages of insurrection, riots, and war. This article is a basic re-hash of what I have been advocating for years. Perhaps you might go back in the previously written article to clarify a point of view.
Read about the Civil War of 1860-1865 and the horrendous lawless state of affairs thereafter. These conditions would surface again, as people have not changed; only the culture and technology have changed. We are now facing another major recession, maybe a worldwide depression within this global economy.
We as a nation are not really independent and remain with outdated WW1 and WW2 laws, policies; also educational outmoded concepts remain entrenched in the State and Federal thinking. For example: NATO. When Turkey was a stable country they were good allies. Now that they purport to attack Russia and draw us into the fray based on NATO-well that is WWIII. This date the stakes are raised with the Sunni Saudi Arabia with its Wahabbi sect who have a history of supporting ISIS and other terrorists. Now facing ruin with the rapid decrease in Oil prices they have turned their military incursions into Yemen a protectorate of Shiite Iran. This situation is serious and we could be called to task based on NATO agreements: if you they are attacked, we and other countries will rally to their cause. As it stands, we as a nation are currently sending ship loads of arms to Saudi Arabia, while the commerce of ships, 2000 in number laden with trade goods are idle again, as in 2007, at anchor in the Gulf of Mexico. This imperials our Federal financial picture. This disruption of trade was a major impetus to the recession we are currently in for the past 9 years.
The next biggest threat is the LOW PRICE of OIL. You and I are grateful that gasoline is more affordable, however, in the big picture Russia, one of the largest oil and gas producers, are depending upon a $50.00 barrel revenue, oil is selling at $33.00 a barrel market and this leaves Russia, Kazakakhstan and Azerbaijan to reduce its $50.00 oil barrel price to a much lower figure; but can they survive with the warmer winters, and falling world trade demand thereby forcing them to cut back on their military and social programs?
Iran is back in the international oil market as sanctions have been lifted. This is in competition with OPEC, with the Saudis needing $98.00 a barrel, Bahrain $89.00 a barrel and Oman $96.00 a barrel. Other Arab countries are also in dire straights with the loss of revenue. Some authorities consider this a breaking point with Saudi Arabia, who may collapse being overextended and deep in debt. Would the Saudis attack Iran or the other attack the Saudis? Iran has 3 times the military might and of course NATO comes into play. WWIII is on the drawing boards.
The Iraqis, and Kurds as an example to fund their fight against ISIS, require substantial monies, now at peril due to the falling oil price.
All this is part of globalization, as one domino falls, they all fall. The United States although producing oil is also at risk to the low prices, and of particular interest to this writer is the Obama administration refusing the oil pipeline from Canada to Nebraska, which would be connected to another pipeline to deliver 800,000 gallons of oil daily to Louisiana refineries. The issue stated is potential environmental damage. The job and industry loss is in the millions.
Now that you and I have a cheap flow of gasoline consider that the international market dictates not for you and me, but for the maintenance of the individual world states’ needs. Oil is money, money is oil. The $100.00 figure for a barrel of oil, so long enjoyed as a profit margin based on volume is no more, as long as economic factors such as investment, food production, stock markets, etc. are low. China at this time appears to be the backbreaker in the popular stock market down beat but the underlying cause is oil. Japan as an example is firing up their Nuclear power sites again due to the world threat of oil demise. China plans on over 400 new Nuclear power sites to be constructed.
I would suggest stocking up on foods, and necessities while you can. Be prudent and circumspect.
May God bless you and keep you in his hand.
